I have 15 years of classroom experience both at the middle and high school level in English Language Arts. I have taught a range of courses from remedial reading courses to college preparation courses. I am currently the coordinator of Secondary ELAR for Garland ISD. In my current role, I am in charge of working with developing curriculum and professional development for the teachers in my district. I have presented at the TALE , TASA mid-winter, ASCD Ignite, AP National Conference, and done countless presentations for my district.
