This session will be a basic overview to using
Scratch, which is a free drag-and-drop program by MIT designed for kindergarteners in which
anyone can code and create interactive
stories,
games, and
animations. Participants will learn how to create a simple animation and how to build or “remix” other user’s projects. This can be used as an
educator tool to create interactive experiences or as a teaching tool in which students can create their own projects.
Flash-compatible devices or browsers are recommended if you would like to practice using Scratch.
