SCRATCHing the Surface - Coding

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session will be a basic overview to using Scratch, which is a free drag-and-drop program by MIT designed for kindergarteners in which anyone can code and create interactive storiesgames, and animations. Participants will learn how to create a simple animation and how to build or “remix” other user’s projects. This can be used as an educator tool to create interactive experiences or as a teaching tool in which students can create their own projects. Flash-compatible devices or browsers are recommended if you would like to practice using Scratch. Check your Flash here.
